NATURE OF WORK:
Performs public facing entry level work involved with qualifying individuals for housing rehabilitation and down payment assistance through the City of Orlando. This position performs paraprofessional level work. This intake specialist collects and evaluates pertinent information and counsels applicants regarding personal finances all while following grant rules and regulations to determine eligibility for assistance. Work is performed under moderate supervision of the grant manager and is reviewed while in progress and upon completion through discussions, review of files, and reports submitted.
Minimum Requirements
Associate degree in government, finance, business administration, or the social sciences with two (2) year public contact work to include experience in customer relations, finance, credit administration, housing counseling required; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
