This position will be responsible for assisting with implementation of housing related federal and state grants; including but not limited to Community Block Development Grant and Emergency Rental Assistance programs. The Housing Program Manager will manage and oversee the programs activities and supervise staff who will contact housing rehabilitation or home buyer assistance clients to schedule appointments, receive, review and process housing program applications. Works closely with purchasing and contractual services to ensure contractors are approved Clay County vendors and work with the building department to ensure that proper permits have been issued for the work to be performed. Partner with Code Enforcement to ensure active and open cases have been notified of the on-going program for enrollment.
