Staff Services Manager III — Branch Chief
Monthly salary: $8,173.00 to $9,280.00

As the Branch Chief (Staff Services Manager III) you supervise a team responsible for the design and implementation of Assembly Bill (AB) 434. AB 434 streamlines and aligns HCD’s multifamily affordable housing programs, improving the efficiency and impact of State housing investments. The Branch Chief will work closely with HCD’s Division of Financial Assistance (DFA) executive leadership to envision and implement these exciting changes. Also, you will oversee project planning, stakeholder engagement, guideline revision, and application development. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience managing multi-phase projects and overseeing multiple project-teams. Also, applicants should possess excellent time management, deadline management, people management and communication skills. Experience with affordable housing development and finance experience (for state and federally funded grant programs) is desirable.
