The course includes assignments and group work. At the host community’s request, a third day is sometimes offered, focusing exclusively on project underwriting requirements. At least two year’s experience in the CDBG Program is highly recommended and the CDBG Basics course is a pre-requisite for this course.

Interested in hosting an Advanced level course in your community? NCDA relies on member communities to host classes. All you need to do is provide access to a training room that seats at least 35 people, has a screen, laptop, and projector. If the room is large or has bad acoustics, a microphone and speaker is appreciated. For more information about hosting a course in your city, contact NCDA Staff!
