NCDA Staff

Vicki Watson serves as the Executive Director of the National Community Development Association (NCDA) where she has overall responsibility for the operation of the organization to include fiscal, staffing, policy development, congressional affairs, and day-to-day management. Vicki has been with the Association since 1998, having served as Assistant Director and Legislative Director. Prior to her tenure with NCDA, Vicki worked on housing and homelessness policy for the Council of State Community Development Agencies and in real estate finance for the Fairfax County (VA) Department of Housing and Community Development.

She holds a master’s degree in public administration from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA and a bachelor’s degree in public affairs from Ferrum College.

Mike Lightfield, CPA is the Controller and has overall responsibility for maintaining the organization’s financial records and preparing all of the financial reports.

Mike is the owner of Columbia Tax Advisory Group, LLC and performs accounting services for several non-profits and local municipalities. He graduated from the University of Maryland and resides in Elkridge, MD with his wife and daughter.

Quinn Comstock is the Project Coordinator and assists with various logistical aspects of the Association such as membership, advocacy, and annual Community Development Week planning. He previously served as an intern with both NCDA and COSCDA before stepping into this role.

Quinn holds a Master’s degree in International Affairs from American University, and he is an AmeriCorps NCCC alum. He is passionate about food security and community development both domestically and internationally, and currently resides in Washington, DC with his cat, Ripley.
