    HUD Releases Guidance on Homelessness Prevention Funds
    HUD released guidance on the $1.5 billion in funding for the Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP).  Please see details. 

    Neighborhood Stabilization Program
    Under NSP1, HUD allocated $3.92 billion to 309 grantees.  HUD has made some changes to NSP1 through the issuance of a bridge notice and has announced training dates for NSP1.  Under NSP2, HUD will allocate $1.93 billion to states, local governments, and nonprofit organizations on a competitive basis.  The deadline to apply for NSP2 funding is July 17, 2009.  All information regarding the Neighborhood Stabilization Program funding (both NSP1 and NSP2) can be found on HUD's web site here.       See letter to Secretary Donovan from NCDA and other interest groups on necessary NSP changes.
