The City of West Palm Beach is seeking to hire an experienced Housing and Community Development Program Manager responsible for the administration, implementation and overall management of various housing and community development programs, initiatives, and activities.  This position will be primarily responsible for the programmatic and fiscal compliance of all applicable regulations under the following programs: CDBG, HOME, HOPWA, and SHIP.  The Housing and Community Development Program Manager will report directly to the Assistant Director and serve as a member of the Department’s leadership team supervising approximately 5 or more employees.

Starting salary is $95k+ and two (2) remote workdays per week may be approved after the 6-month probationary period has been met. Additional benefits are detailed on the website.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with a major in Business Administration, Planning, Economic Development, Public Administration, Social Sciences, or related field and five (5) years of experience in administering federal and state housing and community development programs is required, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.  Two (2) years of direct experience overseeing the compliance of HUD CDP Programs such as CDBG, HOME, HOPWA and State SHIP Program is required. Two (2) years of supervisory experience is required.
